It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life for us...

What a roller coaster ride we have been on. Rarely has the entire world gone through the same events at the same time. Usually these are stories from Hollywood movies where the world is ending after a pandemic or attack by aliens and monster tornadoes.

But no, we’ve all been through it and I, for one, am happy I got through it ok. I hope you have as well, I truly do. It’s a new dawn and a new day. Nina Simone’s feeling good is a bitter sweet song these days. It’s a new life, but many aren’t feeling good. We will though.

The music community has suffered the most but we are happy that our fans, at least, have remained supportive and have uplifted us at a dark time. For many of us, this is our lives, so we have had to turn our lives around in a matter of days or weeks (last year) and find new direction.

We are resilient so we have learnt new skills, found new jobs, moved to new States around the country and generally done everything and anything to keep afloat till we could get back on stage.

And now, we have started to add dates to our thirsty calendars, dusted off our Music pages, started creating new set lists. We have rolled up our sleeves and done our bit to help keep you safe at our upcoming shows. This is the new life for us. Every gig we are offered comes with the question- Are you vaccinated? Is your band vaccinated?

I don’t take any offence to it, I want to sing more than I want to fight a war I won’t and can’t win and honestly don’t want to win. So I’m fighting to get back on stage by being vaccinated. I hope to see you all real soon. I can’t say I won’t hug you but I can say I’ll sing my heart out for and to you. So come out in masses, support us, pay to come watch us, Book us for your private events, work events. Tell your friends about us and tell them to book us. Help us get our mojo back, our gig fitness back and our joy back. We will make it worth your while. I promise!
